Mexican Restaurants are always a firm favourite place for people to eat at. Mexican cuisine is well known for its intense and tasty flavours, lovely spices and colourful decorations. Most of Mexican foods routes trace back to Aztecs and Maya times. Along side "normal" Mexican dishes, traditionally in Mexico it wouldn't be strange to see iguana, rattle snake, spider monkey and all kinds of insects mixed in a meal. Can't say its something that has caught on in Mexican restaurants over here, though... Popular Mexican Drinks include Tejate, Chocolate (which they drink more as a drink than as food), Atole, Tequila, Jarritos, and Mezcal
